For almost 120 years, B’nai Israel has been serving the needs of Jews in the Northern Rhode Island, South Central Massachusetts, and Southern Metro West areas. Our beautiful synagogue, designed by the internationally renowned synagogue architect, Samuel Glazer, is widely recognized as one of the most beautiful synagogues in New England.

Our small but vibrant congregation offers Sunday School, Hebrew School, and early education programs such as our Jewish Mother Goose and PJ Library Programs. Come join us for our Family Friendly Friday Shabbat Dinners and other special programs. We are also an outreach site for the Jewish Eldercare of RI, offering resources to Jewish seniors and their families. Our cemetery is centrally located and has recently been expanded to include a section to accommodate the burial of our interfaith families.
